Solar Powered. The system is housed in a tough lockable stainless steel case with military
style water protection. It comes fully assembled and is desgned to be simply and very quickly mounted on top
of a length of 2" galvanised pipe which you supply. It uses the Vodafone GPRS data network in New Zealand and
any GSM nework in other countries.
Online Data. All weather data is reported back to the Harvest website every hour. The data
is then available for viewing via the internet as graphs or the raw data can be downloaded in csv format or
pushed to your server. All data is archived indefinitely.
Custom Reporting. Custom reporting intervals can also be arranged and alarms can be
automatically sent by text (SMS), voice and email when certain conditions are met eg high rain intensity,
high wind, low or high temperature.
Optional Back Office Server Normally weather data is reported back to the Harvest Web site
where the data is processd and displayed. However if you want the weather stations to report directly to your
own servers Harvest now offer a special version of their back end software to greatly simplify development of your
own system.
Sensors.
The professional weather station comes standard with temperature, pressure, humidity, wind and rain sensors.
There are several options for wind and rain sensors:
Novalynx 200-WS-02 wind speed and direction OR Vaisala WM30 wind speed and direction
Davis 07852 Rain Gauge OR Hydrological Services TB3 or TB4 rain gauge
Optional Sensors. The following optional sensors are available:

Decagon soil mositure probes
Soil temperature probe
