Logged in as: Guest

Harvest Electronics, in co-operation with the Solano Irrigation District and the Suisun Valley Vintners and Growers Association, have donated this system for the benefit of all growers in the area.

The online graphs and historical data is publicly available for viewing and downloading. For information, service and sales including how to view it from your regular phone or smart phone contact George Richmond at Nord Vineyard Services. 707 226-8774 office 707 333-6541 cell or george@nordvineyards.com

This is a complete internet-based GSM solar powered weather station. The system reports at least every 60 minutes - immediately for alarms and every minute during a frost event. It has sensors for temperature (wired and wireless), rainfall, wind speed and direction, soil moisture, humidity (used for calculating dew point temperature)and solar radiation (used to calculate evapotranspiration). Text messages, voice messages and emails can be sent when alarm levels are exceeded (e.g., frost alarm, high temperature alarm, high rainfall, high wind).

Tuned Weather Forecasts
Harvest have joined with the MetService to offer tuned local weather forecasts. The MetService computers tune the weather forecast for your exact location based on the data from your Harvest automated weather station (AWS).

The forecasts give a seven day forecast with hourly estimates of wind, temperature and rainfall.

Control By Smartphone

We now offer remote control of pumps or other equipment using any computer or smartphone. This is not a text message which could arrive minutes or even hours later. This is online control with live status.
